Given a text, this quiz measures how well you can:

- identify organizational features.
- infer the author's perspective or purpose.
Directions
This quiz includes multiple choice questions and lessons about finding organizational/text features and the author's perspective/purpose.
There are 6 questions, which will be pulled from random question pools in the following categories:
- 4 organizational features questions
- 2 author's perspective questions
Materials
The only allowed materials you can use on this assessment are:
- the reading
- your notebook to take notes
- a writing utensil / highlighter
- the quiz itself
- your brain
Use of any outside materials, notes, talking to others, including the use of websites such as WordReference, is prohibited. Per the PCHS Student Handbook, "Students who choose to use unauthorized material, or cheat, when taking an academic assessment are subject to academic and possible disciplinary consequences."
Time
This quiz is timed. You have 30 minutes to answer the questions.
