Objectives

This assessment measures if you can...

  2. identify basic vocabulary
  3. identify numbers
  4. use the correct grammatical forms
  5. identify culture practices and products

Instructions

The assessment has 48 questions, which are mainly multiple choice, but there are some multiple select and multiple dropdown. All questions are randomly selected from these question pools:

  • culture
  • general food vocabulary
  • breakfast foods
  • fruits
  • vegetables
  • partititive
  • grammar
  • numbers
  • no excuse vocabulary

This assessment was designed to take into account multiple facets of what you know:

  • 22% culture
  • 31% grammar
  • 29% identifying vocabulary/phrases
  • 14% no excuse vocabulary
  • 4% a mix of categories

 Materials

The only allowed materials you can use on this assessment are:

  • headphones / earbuds
  • the quiz itself
  • your brain

Use of any outside materials, notes, talking to others, including the use of websites such as WordReference, is prohibited. Per the PCHS Student Handbook, "Students who choose to use unauthorized material, or cheat, when taking an academic assessment are subject to academic and possible disciplinary consequences."

Time

You will have 50 minutes to answer the questions.

Assessment

This assessment is 70 points. Your score will be the number of questions you have answered correctly.
