This quiz measures how well you can:

• identify key words, supporting details, main ideas and organizational features in a reading
• infer the author's perspective, the meaning of words in context, and cultural perspectives in a reading

This quiz includes fill in the blank, multiple choice, multiple select and short answer questions. 

The questions will be pulled from random question pools in the following categories:

• 10 key words questions
• 1 main idea question
• 10 supporting details questions
• 1 organizational features question
• 3 guessing meaning from context questions
• 2 inference questions
• 1 author's perspective question
• 2 cultural comparisons questions

This quiz is timed. You have 50 minutes to answer the questions.

I will use the Interpretative rubric to grade this quiz (see the next assignment for the rubric).

The points you have at the end of the quiz does not mean that will be your score. You will be able to see feedback after you finish this quiz. The feedback is provided to help you with expectations for answers and how to improve specific areas.
