Introduction

Who are some important people you think every American should know about? Depending on what you value, you could answer any number of people. We learn at an early age about people of historic importance; we see their statues and have streets named after them. Some are even on our money! In this module, you'll be learning about people of historic importance in France.

Objectives

Following the completion of the third module, you will be able to...

• discuss who is the most important or influential French person from history in easily understandable French using new vocabulary words and relevant information about the target culture with 80% accuracy in 30 minutes or less.
• compare your culture to the target culture in standard American English with relevant information about the target culture.
