You must have passed French 1-2 and French 3-4 with a grade of 60% or better. If you are in fourth year, you must have passed French 5-6 with a grade of 60% or better.
All students require at least a novice-high-level understanding of French.

The descriptions of what you are able to do based on your score is located here. Realize that this is a simple test of your level and you may have some gaps. For this course, you should be at least a A1 on the European Commission’s Common European Framework of Reference (CECR), with the expectation that you're nearing or in the A2 level.
If you tested in the A1.1 range, you must contact me as soon as possible. You will need a more comprehensive evaluation to ensure your success in this course.
